Multigigabit Microwave and Millimeter-Wave Wireless Communications $119 For decades, microwave radios in the 6 to 50 GHz bands have been providing wireless communications. Recently, newer technologies at the 60 to 100 GHz mm-wave bands have taken advantage of new wireless regulations that are designed to enable ultra-high capacity communications. Exploring this exciting area in depth, this cutting-edge resource offers you the latest details on multigigabit wireless communications. The book places emphasis on practical use and applications, but also provides a thorough explanation of important technological underpinnings to give you a complete understanding of subject. You find clear guidance on system design and link planning, helping you to determine performance levels given the physical limitations of operating in these frequency bands. Supported with over 50 illustrations, the book covers a wide range of critical topics, from the high frequency electromagnetic spectrum and high data rate mm-wave radios, to wireless link margins and path profiling. |

Microwave Engineering $144 Everything readers need to implement and support a wireless point-to-point communications environment. In order to cope with the tremendous explosion of the telecommunications market, the field of wireless communications has greatly expanded in the past fifty years, especially in the domains of microwave radio systems including line-of-sight, satellites, and tropospheric-scatter. Now, Microwave Engineering: Land & Space Radio- communications answers the growing worldwide demand for an authoritative book on this important and emerging subject area. In five succinct chapters, the book introduces students and practicing engineers to the main propagation phenomena that are encountered and that must be considered in the design and planning for any given system type and frequency of operation::;. Electromagnetic wave propagation—An introduction to the fundamentaltheory of radiation and propagation of electromagnetic waves, polarization, antenna properties, free space attenuation, atmospheric refractivity, diffraction, reflection, multipath and scattering mechanisms, hydrometeor effects, and probability distributions;. Principles of digital communication systems—Modulation techniques, signal processing, error probability, spectral characteristics, spectrum efficiency, thermal noise, intermodulation, jamming, and interference;. Microwave line-of-sight systems—Path profile, flat fading and frequency-selective fading, interferometric method for space and frequency diversity techniques, International Standards and ITU Recommendations, optimization of the frequency-plan resource, link budget, quality, reliability, and availability;. Microwave transhorizon systems—Design of beyond-the-horizon communication systems, properties of scattering and diffraction modes, multipath statistical relations, long-term and short-term field strength variations, quality of service, optimization of antenna alignment, and experimental analysis of various diversity and combining methods;. Satellite communications—Design of satellite communications systems, orbital parameters, Earth-satellite geometry, uplink and downlink budgets for both space and Earth segments, and total system noise temperature. Microwave Engineering: Land & Space Radiocommunications is suitable for engineers involved in wireless telecommunications, as well as for students and members of various seminars and workshops. |

Realistic Suggestions - Can Redken Hair Products Enable You To Get The Beach Wave?
Just what is the latest trend popular "on the street?" It used to be that frizzy hair was extremely popular, but this was eventually replaced by the really straight, no-nonsense look. Nowadays, maybe we're witnessing a serious reply to frizzy hair as keratin treatment options seem to be taking on some attraction. Keratin is used as a straightening approach that can cause what is identified by some as a beach wave. It involves the use of a flat iron to straighten the hair, which is then covered with keratin to achieve the desired impact.
The new beach wave look is considered to be especially loved by the ranks of the professional ladies who have to implement a no-nonsense philosophy to the way they appear, whilst still wanting to represent cutting-edge. They don't need hair that's found as extreme at all, whether too curly or perhaps too straight.
Many times a number of these keratin treatments have been questioned mainly because of the use of particular chemicals just like formaldehyde, considered to be dangerous in way too high a volume. It could be that particular brands incorporate this particular chemical in way too high a level that may lead to headaches and some breathing problems if way too much is ingested. Nonetheless, if the hair salon or workspace is well ventilated this ought to be much less of a problem.
Any of the Redken hair products currently available are dependable and also trustworthy with regards to ingredients and also predictability. All of the top producers such as Tigi hair products and also Paul Mitchell shampoo make certain that they carefully analyse their particular alternatives well before they're provided in salons and spas. This is why it is best to have confidence in merchandise from these trustworthy suppliers when you're seeking to make your own beach wave statement. A mix of establishment, working experience, reputation and pizzazz might make a big difference.

A micro-Doppler sonar for acoustic surveillance in sensor networks. $49.99 Wireless sensor networks have been employed in a wide variety of applications, despite the limited energy and communication resources at each sensor node. Low power custom VLSI chips implementing passive acoustic sensing algorithms have been successfully integrated into an acoustic surveillance unit and demonstrated for detection and location of sound sources. In this dissertation, I explore active and passive acoustic sensing techniques, signal processing and classification algorithms for detection and classification in a multinodal sensor network environment. I will present the design and characterization of a continuous-wave micro-Doppler sonar to image objects with articulated moving components. As an example application for this system, we use it to image gaits of humans and four-legged animals. I will present the micro-Doppler gait signatures of a walking person, a dog and a horse. I will discuss the resolution and range of this micro-Doppler sonar and use experimental results to support the theoretical analyses. In order to reduce the data rate and make the system amenable to wireless sensor networks, I will present a second micro-Doppler sonar that uses bandpass sampling for data acquisition. Speech recognition algorithms are explored for biometric identifications from one's gait, and I will present and compare the classification performance of the two systems. The acoustic micro-Doppler sonar design and biometric identification results are the first in the field as the previous work used either video camera or microwave technology. I will also review bearing estimation algorithms and present results of applying these algorithms for bearing estimation and tracking of moving vehicles. Another major source of the power consumption at each sensor node is the wireless interface. To address the need of low power communications in a wireless sensor network, I will also discuss the design and implementation of ultra wideband transmitters in a three |
